A book publicist helps authors get the word out about their new books, by setting up press coverage, interviews, speaking events, and connecting with relevant influencers.
While I have promoted books in a variety of genres, I currently specialize in promoting authors of non-fiction titles.
Ideally, authors should begin the planning process 4-5 months ahead of publication. Your strategy should be set with introductory materials prepared approximately 2 months before your book is published.
There is no guarantee that libraries will buy your book, especially but there are a few ways to increase your chances. One thing is for sure, the more active you are, as the creator of your masterpiece, to develop name recognition & take an active role in publicity efforts (i.e. doing interviews, publishing articles, etc), the more likely librarians are to hear about you. This is why collaboration with me on your campaign is absolutely crucial.
